The Role
We are seeking a reliable and organised Junior Legal Secretary to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their legal support career who is keen to develop their skills within a busy and professional office.
Key Responsibilities
Providing administrative and secretarial support for fee earners
Preparing legal documents and correspondence using audio dictation and templates
Managing and maintaining client files (electronic and paper-based)
Handling telephone calls and assisting clients in a professional manner
Diary management, scheduling meetings, and arranging appointments
Filing, scanning, and general administrative duties including the collection of post, deliveries, and assisting with reception duties during lunchtime, as and when required during holidays
Assisting with client onboarding and compliance documentation
Archiving and destruction of files
Skills & Experience
Strong organisation skills and excellent attention to detail
Good written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Professional and client-focused approach
Previous legal experience is desirable but not essential
Previous administrative or office experience would be advantageous
