Career:

Mark was called to the English Bar in 1987 and the Guernsey Bar in 1988.  He became a partner in 2003.  In April 2007 he founded AFR Advocates with colleagues Paul Richardson and Peter Atkinson. He lectures regularly to the finance industry.

Mark Ferbrache was the author of the Guernsey Chapter of ‘Anti-Money Laundering International Law and Practice’ which is endorsed by the International Compliance Association and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Messenger Insurance PCC Limited (In Administration)
Represented Ernst &Young, the administrators of Messenger, in the first administration to take place in Guernsey.  The administration was contentious, the company facing disputed claims from creditors and contingent creditors totalling approximately £45 million.

Advising Royal Bank of Scotland in connection with the attempted coup in Equatorial Guinea and the seizure of funds..
